It doesn't matter how much you have. What matters is how much you are willing to give from what you have.
2 Corinthians 8:12 CEV
Thoughts:
The Lord doesn’t ask us to give what we don’t have; however, He wants us to have the willingness to give from what we do have. The New International Version (NIV) translation of this scripture states that if there is willingness, the gift is acceptable because the attitude towards our giving matters to God. And He is mindful of what we have, and He doesn’t want us to burden ourselves by giving beyond our means.
Today’s Assignment:
Give something from what you have today and do it with a cheerful attitude. It doesn’t have to be substantial unless you feel led to give in that way, and it doesn’t have to be monetary.
