God’s word is words of transformation and transportation—transforming us from the inside out and transporting us from where we are in our flesh to where He wants us to be in spirit. And it is written in Romans 12:2 (NKJV) that we should not be conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of our minds, so that we can prove what is good, acceptable, and the perfect will of God. Our Father doesn’t want us to change to be like the people of this world, but He wants us to let Him change us from the inside, beginning with a new way of thinking. Putting on the thinking cap of God helps us to understand and accept what He wants from us, giving us the God-kind of wisdom to know what is good and pleasing to Him and what is perfect. When we were saved, our old version was taken off and replaced with the new 2.0 version of ourselves. And this 2.0 version should constantly be renewed in knowledge in the image of our Creator, as stated in Colossians 3:10 (NIV). So, when we are consumed with studying His word, practicing His teachings, and demonstrating His power, we can imitate His image. And this Kingdom Mind Renewal Bootcamp was created to help us become new in the attitude of our minds to be like our Father in true righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4:23-24 NIV).
I started this bootcamp in February of this year with some friends of mine, and each of us chose three different scriptures to meditate on day and night for seven days. We also prayed the scriptures over our lives as we meditated on God’s word. There were four of us in total, and each week in February, we meditated and prayed back to God three different scriptures. This simple, easy training is very impactful. When we finished, I felt stronger, powerful, confident, loved, motivated, and reassured with a sense of peace and comfort. Many of us read the word, but we don’t allow it to resonate with us to the extreme of converting our sense knowledge into revelatory knowledge, leading us to change our ways. This bootcamp will help you change that, so I encourage you to join.
You can join this training solo or with a partner, but if you join with someone, you can hold each other accountable and encourage one another along the way. You can start at your discretion and revise the details to suit your needs.
Here are the details:
- Select at least 3 scriptures
- You and your partner meditate on those verses day and night for 7 consecutive days and personalize those scriptures by replacing the pronouns with personal pronouns I, me, or my when you pray.
- Start by trying to meditate and pray for at least 5 to 10 minutes. Your meditation and prayer time will increase as you become more comfortable and dedicated to fellowshipping with God.
- Repeat the steps above with the 3 different scriptures your partner has selected.
To get you started, here are some scriptures for you to meditate and pray for the next 7 days:
1- Scripture: I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. ~Luke 10:19 NIV
Prayer: God, thank You for giving me the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; therefore, I trust and believe that nothing can harm me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
2- Scripture: The Lord is good. He protects those who trust him in times of trouble. ~Nahum 1:7 CEV
Prayer: Father, thank You for being so good to me and protecting me in times of trouble just as You said You would in Nahum 1:7, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
3- Scripture: But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. ~Isaiah 43:1 NKJV
Prayer: Thank You, Father, for redeeming me, so I will not fear because You have called me by my name and made me Yours. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Who’s in? Let me know in the comments. I pray that you will join and let the dew of God’s word purify, renew, and bless you.
