The world has been heavy lately and quite challenging to face without feeling extremely exhausted and defeated. It seems as though Satan has taken an extra dose of his evil and demonic medication to make people’s lives look like a lost cause to the naked and untrained eye, and feel miserable to those who are emotionally unstable and vulnerable. Can anyone relate, or should I mind my own business and find something else to do? I believe that there’s at least one person who needs to hear this, so bear with me and allow me to enlighten you.
If you change your natural response to the enemy’s tactics by rejoicing rather than wallowing in sadness, frustration, and disappointment, it will relieve some of the pressure and uneasiness that you’re allowing to overtake you. Listen, don’t eat what the devil is trying to feed you—lies, deception, defeat, guilt, and shame. Instead, combat with God’s truth and count it all joy. When you listen to the Lord and eat His word, you will be satisfied and spiritually nourished because of the richness it provides for your life. And the anointed potency that’s upon you when God’s on your side and you know how to fight Satan with God’s word; that good for nothing evil spirit will attack you from one direction but flee from you confused and panicked, in seven directions, according to Deuteronomy 28:7. This is the way God intervenes on your behalf and protects you from the evil one.
After all that divine intervention, you may be thinking: That’s great and all, but you’re too consumed by the stronghold of your circumstances to believe that the Lord will come through for you like a rushing wind and rescue you from your misery. And I know that all of this is easier said than done, but you must step outside yourself and muster up the strength to ask the Lord for help. And although your faith may be frail and fatigued, just as you are, don’t allow yourself to be silent because you don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. God will meet you where you are, and He would love for you to invite Him into your battle, so that He can go to war on your behalf because the battle is not yours, it’s the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). And knowing that the battle is not yours, it’s the Lord’s should give you a sense of comfort and assurance of victory because God is a triumphant warrior who cannot be defeated. So, let today be the day that you surrender all your cares and worries to God and expect Him to turn things around for you in ways that uphold His majestic reputation.
And I want you to know one more thing before you leave this post: prayer has not lost its power, and neither has God. So, don’t give up on Him and don’t give up on yourself, my friend. Better days are ahead, so stay hopeful and encouraged!
