…Speak, for your servant is listening.
~1 Samuel 3:10 NIV
Before you begin this quiet hour of power, ask the Holy Spirit to make everything plain and clear, so that you can receive and apply the revelation knowledge given to you through Him. And during this powerful hour, let God do all the talking, and you attentively listen and write down everything He has to say. Use this hour to read your Bible and/or use this hour to sit and linger in His presence, allowing the Lord to speak to you one-on-one about things that you have been seeking His guidance and instructions for, or whatever divine downloads He wants to bestow upon you. When you read God’s word, that’s Him speaking to you, and when you pray, that’s you speaking to Him. As much as you would love to talk on your behalf, let God have the floor for this one, and you give Him your full attention. Get your pen and paper ready and say: God, I’m all ears—speak to me.
